Its unique single-pillar design makes it the only available panoramic OPEN MRI scanner in the world. Incorporating the strongest open permanent magnet – with field strength of 0.4 Tesla – APERTO provides high-field quality, at the cost of a permanent system. APERTO Eterna has been developed as the flagship of Hitachi’s OPEN MRI range. Newly developed technologies of the 1.5T superconductive MRI Echelon, and the accumulated technologies of OPEN MRI, are integrated to create its enhanced capabilities. Basic Features User-friendly Operating System The operating system of APERTO Eterna is based on that of Echelon, with functions such as Radial Stack (Radial slice-plane setting) and Group Scan to facilitate ease of use. Enchanced Image Reconstruction Engine The image reconstruction engine of the Eterna has been improved to correspond better with the increased number of images and image processing techniques such as MIP and VR. High Performance Functions & Applications Eterna features new functions and applications compatible with a superconductive MRI to improve image quality and capabilities. New Noise Filtering Function Eterna’s new type of noise filtering function reduces noise from acquired signals, thus improving image quality. Operational Stability Eterna promises a stable operation by displaying all the advantages of a permanent magnet OPEN MRI, such as reducing running costs and eliminating the need for expensive periodic replacement parts and supplies.
